Obviously, this story is Chinese government propaganda to deflect from the Olympics. Many smug people have written that this sort of thing *never* happens in the UK.

This was buried in the BBC website. I guess random shootings in the UK aren't exactly front page news. Who knew? If you only consumed the blather from outlets like the NY Times, Chicago Tribune, LA Times, NBC, ABC, etc., you would never know about tidbits like this.
