DISTRICT 1 ROCKVILLE STATION
THEFTS/BREAK-INS
EDMONSTON DR. W., 900 block, 1:05 a.m. May 2. A person entered an unlocked residence through a front door, then fled empty-handed when confronted by an occupant. A person was arrested nearby.
DISTRICT 2 BETHESDA STATION
THEFTS/BREAK-INS
ELSMERE AVE., 5500 block, 8:30 a.m. May 3. A man tried to force a door at a residence. He fled when confronted by an occupant.
DISTRICT 3 SILVER SPRING STATION
THEFTS/BREAK-INS
BRANTFORD AVE., 1100 block, 1:20 p.m. April 29. Property was taken from a residence entered by force. Two males were seen fleeing with the property in a green Honda.
DISTRICT 4 WHEATON STATION
THEFTS/BREAK-INS
BEL PRE RD., 3900 block, 11:30 a.m. April 30. Property was stolen from an occupied apartment. The victim said that he had heard someone open his unlocked door but thought that it was an acquaintance.
NORBECK RD., 4900 block, 8:15 a.m. May 3. A residence was entered by force. Nothing was reported missing.
District 5 Germantown Station
THEFTS/BREAK-INS
HARMONY WOODS LANE, 18700 block, 12:52 p.m. May 5. An attempt was made to break into a residence. The home was damaged, but nothing was reported missing.
District 6 Gaithersburg Station
THEFTS/BREAK-INS
CALABAR DR., 17700 block, 11:10 to 11:30 a.m. April 30. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.
DOCENA DR., 9700 block, 7 to 8 p.m. May 3. Property was stolen from a residence.
Takoma Park
THEFTS/BREAK-INS
MAPLE AVE., 7600 block, 6:19 a.m. May 13. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.
5TH AVE., 6400 block, 1:05 p.m. May 7. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force. A man was charged with first-degree burglary.
