DISTRICT 1 ROCKVILLE STATION

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

MANOR STONE DR., 13300 block, 6:13 p.m. Aug. 17. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

NOLAN DR., 10400 block, 6:51 a.m. Aug. 18. An attempt was made to break into a residence. Nothing was reported missing.

OWENS GLEN WAY, 11700 block, 6:45 p.m. Aug. 15. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

DISTRICT 4 WHEATON STATION

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

MONITOR PL., 3700 block, 1:06 a.m. Aug. 13. An attempt was made to break into a residence. Nothing was reported missing.

SHERATON ST., 2400 block, 4 p.m. Aug. 15. Property was stolen from a residence. A 24-year-old man and a 32-year-old woman, both of Glenmont, were arrested.

DISTRICT 5 GERMANTOWN STATION

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

RIDGE RD., 25700 block, 7:14 a.m. Aug. 17. A residence was entered by force. Nothing was reported missing.

DISTRICT 6 GAITHERSBURG STATION

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

SOLITAIRE CT., 1 to 100 block, 10 p.m. Aug. 13. An attempt was made to break into a residence. Nothing was reported missing. Two men were seen leaving the area in vehicles

Takoma Park

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

MYRTLE AVE., 1200 block, 11:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Aug. 23. An attempt was made to break into an occupied residence by cutting a window screen. The intruder fled empty-handed when confronted.
