Still more on Darius Hill

Here is a background piece on Darius' life and struggles. When I knew him, he was a tank commander and sergeant; scrounging equipment came with the job. Darius was known for being able to get spare parts for his platoon's tanks, but not in a shady way. That's the nature of a mechanically-oriented military unit; someone, somewhere, has one of the widgets you need, squirreled away somewhere for a rainy day, you just need to ask.
