District 2 Bethesda Station

DERBYSHIRE LANE,9900 block, 1 a.m. Feb. 1. Two people were seen attempting to enter a residence, but they were interrupted by a security alarm and fled.

WOODGLEN DR.,11200 block, 12:45 a.m. Feb. 2. A residence was entered. Nothing was reported missing.

District 3 Silver Spring Station

COLESVILLE RD.,9400 block, 2:55 a.m. Feb. 1. An attempt was made to enter a residence.

District 5 Germantown Station

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

CIRCLEGATE DR.,2:40 p.m. Feb. 4. A residence was entered by force. An acquaintance of the resident has been identified as a suspect.

LONG GREEN RD.,27000 block, 6:15 p.m. Feb. 4. A residence was entered by force. Nothing was reported missing.

PURITAN WAY,10000 block, 8:28 p.m. Feb. 3. An attempt was made to enter a residence by force.

WHITAKER RD.,17300 block, 6:45 p.m. Feb. 1. Property was stolen from a residence.


Rockville

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

GRANDIN AVE.,700 block, 7:30 p.m. Feb. 9. A residence was entered by breaking a basement rear window. Nothing was reported missing.

JAY DR.,200 block, 10:15 to 10:30 p.m. Feb. 6. Two laptop computers, a TV Set, a digital music player, a camera and assorted jewelry were stolen from an apartment.

Takoma Park

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

ELM AVE.,400 block, 7:43 p.m. Feb. 11. A male wearing a red plaid shirt attempted to force open a side window of a residence, but was interrupted and fled through a side yard when a resident returned home.
