District 1 Rockville Station

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

HORNERS LANE N.,400 block, 1:25 p.m. July 27. Property was stolen from a residence.

JAY DR.,200 block, July 29. Property was stolen from a residence.


District 2 Bethesda Station

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

FRANKLIN ST.,4100 block, 2:30 p.m. July 23. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force. A boy and two men in a red Dodge Stratus with a football team's flag in the left rear window are being sought in connection with the crime.

POOKS HILL RD.,5100 block, 10 a.m. July 24. An attempt was made to enter a residence. Nothing was reported missing.

TONE DR.,6300 block, 9:30 p.m. July 26. A residence was entered by force. Nothing was reported missing.


District 3 Silver Spring Station

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

HUNTERS GATE TERR.,2700 block, 6:30 a.m. July 26. An acquaintance of a homeowner forced entry into the person's house. Nothing was reported missing.

PINEY BRANCH RD.,8600 block, 2:30 p.m. July 24 to 9:30 p.m. July 25. An attempt was made to enter a residence by force. Nothing was reported missing.


District 4 Wheaton Station

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

ABBEY MANOR CIR.,2800 block, 2 to 4 a.m. July 25. A residence was entered by force. Nothing was reported missing. An arrest was made later in the day in connection with the break-in.

GEORGIA AVE.,13000 block, 4:59 p.m. July 28. An attempt was made to break into a residence. Nothing was reported missing.


District 5 Germantown Station

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

CHERRY BRANCH DR.,12300 block, July 25. A residence was entered by force while the homeowner was inside. Nothing was reported missing. An arrest was made.


District 6 Gaithersburg Station

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

ALDERWOOD DR.,300 block, 7:35 p.m. July 24. A residence was entered by force. Nothing was reported missing.

FREDERICK AVE. S.,12:40 to 1 a.m. July 22. A woman heard noises at a first-floor window of her residence and saw a man attempting to enter the property. He fled empty-handed.


Rockville

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

HORNERS LANE N.,400 block, 1:25 p.m. July 27. Someone entered a residence by forcing open a rear window. Nothing was reported missing.


Takoma Park


THEFTS/BREAK-INS

SLIGO CREEK PKWY.,7900 block, 2 a.m. Aug. 3. A man entered a residence through an unlocked door and took property but was interrupted and fled when a resident awoke after hearing noises, saw the intruder and yelled. The property was recovered outside the residence.
