District 2 Bethesda Station


THEFTS/BREAK-INS

BYEFORDE RD., 9500 block, 5:45 to 6:30 p.m. Dec. 22. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

HELMSDALE RD., 7500 block, 11:30 a.m. Dec. 17. Property was taken from a residence broken into by two men who fled in a blue 2003 Ford F-150 pickup.

District 3 Silver Spring Station

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

CASTLE WAY, 3400 block, 3:44 to 4 p.m. Dec. 22. A man wearing a blue baseball cap tried to enter a residence by force.

EASTERN AVE., 8000 block, 2:19 p.m. Dec. 20. An attempt was made to enter a residence by force. Nothing was reported missing.

FEATHERWOOD ST., 2000 block, 10:30 a.m. Dec. 19. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

PLYERS MILL RD., 2500 block, 3:30 a.m. Dec. 15. An attempt was made to enter a residence by force. A Silver Spring man, 44, was arrested.

District 4 Wheaton Station

ASSAULTS

WOODLARK DR., 13700 block, 1:51 a.m. Dec. 20. An aggravated assault occurred at a residence. After resisting police efforts to control him, a man wielding a knife was arrested.

FLACK ST., 12800 block, 1:45 p.m. Dec. 20. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.


PEAR TREE CT., 3500 block, 11:50 p.m. Dec. 21. A man entered a residence, then left. Nothing was reported missing.

District 5 Germantown Station

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

EAGLES NEST CT., 12200 block, 4:25 a.m. Dec. 20. A person was arrested at the scene of a report of an indecent exposure.

OWL RUN WAY, 18500 block, 6:51 a.m. Dec. 16. Property was stolen from a residence.

District 6 Gaithersburg Station


THEFTS/BREAK-INS

MUDDY BRANCH RD., 400 block, 3:20 to 3:35 p.m. Dec. 17. Property was stolen from a residence.

RAINBOWVIEW PL., 8200 block, 10:30 p.m. Dec. 16. An attempt was made to enter a home. An occupant screamed and confronted the intruder, who fled empty-handed.

STONERIDGE DR., 17700 block, 1 to 3 a.m. Dec. 18. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.
