District 1 Rockville Station

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

HUNGERFORD DR., 500 block, 4:20 p.m. Feb. 8. An attempt was made to enter an occupied residence. The intruder fled after opening the front door. Nothing was reported missing.

WADE AVE., 900 block, Feb. 3. A residential burglary occurred. Two people were arrested on the scene.

District 2 Bethesda Station

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

WEST VIRGINIA AVE., 4400 block, 5 p.m. Feb. 3. Property was taken from a bedroom dresser by a man who said he and an accomplice were utility workers who needed to check on pipes.

District 3 Silver Spring Station

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

EISNER ST., 400 block, 3:10 p.m. Feb. 7. An attempt was made to break into a residence.

NAGLEE DR., 10400 block, 3:45 p.m. Feb. 6. An attempt was made to enter a residence. The intruder fled empty-handed in a Ford Crown Victoria.

District 4 Wheaton Station

PEEPING TOM INCIDENTS

CRICKET LANE, 14100 block, 5 p.m. Feb. 4. A man fled after being confronted while looking inside a residence through a sliding-glass door.

ROBBERIES

SINGERS GLEN DR., 3500 block, 12:37 p.m. Feb. 4. Three males forced a man inside his house from his front porch at gunpoint. The victim was ordered to the floor, struck with the weapon and robbed of property. The assailants fled in a black Honda. A short time later, the vehicle was stopped. Two Silver Spring males in the vehicle were arrested.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

ARCOLA AVE., 2500 block, 1 p.m. Feb. 9. An attempt was made to break into an occupied residence. Three men were seen leaving the premises. Nothing was reported missing.

CHIPPING CT., 17700 block, 8:30 to 9 p.m. Feb. 7. A residence was entered by force. Nothing was reported missing.

UPTON DR., 300 block, 1:01 a.m. Feb. 7. An attempt was made to break into a residence.

District 5 Germantown Station

PEEPING TOM INCIDENTS

GUNNERS BRANCH RD., 19500 block, 7 a.m. Feb. 6. A man fled after being confronted by a woman he was looking at through a window at a residence.

GUNNERS BRANCH RD., 19500 block, 6:30 a.m. Feb. 9. A man fled after being confronted by a woman he was looking at through a window at a residence.

District 6 Gaithersburg Station

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

SNOW VALLEY CT., 8700 block, 4 a.m. Feb. 11. A burglary occurred at a house, with residents awakened by the sound of their vehicle being driven away. An arrest was made.
