DISTRICT 2 BETHESDA STATION

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

WILSON LANE, 7100 block, 8:30 p.m. Feb. 23. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

DISTRICT 3 SILVER SPRING STATION

ASSAULTS

NEELY RD., 1600 block, 8:40 p.m. Feb. 23. A male entered a residence, shot a man and fled. A warrant has been issued for the assailant, who is an acquaintance of the victim.

WORTH AVE., 9300 block, 1:45 p.m. Feb. 26. A male forced his way into a residence and attacked an acquaintance. The assailant was arrested at the scene.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

BRUNSWICK AVE., 10500 block, 10:30 p.m. Feb. 28. A male broke into a residence, then fled when confronted by an occupant who had heard glass shattering. Nothing was reported missing.

SEMINARY RD., 2400 block, 4:15 a.m. Feb. 27. An attempt was made to pry open a door at a residence. The intruder fled when confronted by an occupant.

DISTRICT 4 WHEATON STATION

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

ELM GROVE CIR., 1200 block, 11 to 11:21 p.m. Feb. 23. A residence was entered by force.

DISTRICT 5 GERMANTOWN STATION

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

CONRAD CT., 25200 block, 2 a.m. Feb. 28. An attempt was made to break into a residence. The assailants fled when a homeowner arrived.

DISTRICT 6 GAITHERSBURG STATION

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

DELLCASTLE CT., 10:30 a.m. to noon Feb. 25. Two males broke into a residence, then fled empty-handed when confronted.
