District 1 Rockville Station
THEFTS/BREAK-INS
HOWARD AVE., 300 block, 8:33 to 8:36 p.m. June 5. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.
District 2 Bethesda Station
THEFTS/BREAK-INS
SUMMIT AVE., 9800 block, 4 a.m. June 1. A garage was entered using a garage-door opener stolen from an unlocked vehicle at the residence. A resident was awakened by the sound of the garage door. Nothing was reported missing.
VIRGINIA AVE. W., 10 p.m. June 1 to 8:30 a.m. June 2. Cash and a cellphone were stolen from an unlocked vehicle.
District 3 Silver Spring Station
INDECENT EXPOSURE
JANUARY DR., 1700 block, 10:36 p.m. June 6. A male was seen peeping into a window. He fled when confronted by an occupant.
THEFTS/BREAK-INS
ATHEY RD., 15100 block, 6:28 p.m. June 1. Property was stolen from an open garage. A male with a blue and yellow backpack was seen fleeing the premises.
District 4 Wheaton Station
THEFTS/BREAK-INS
CHERRY VALLEY DR., 3600 block, 2:30 p.m. June 1. An attempt was made to pry open a window at a residence. Nothing was reported missing. An arrest was made.
FLACK ST., 12800 block, 3:15 a.m. June 2. A residential burglary occurred. Police said it was a domestic incident.
GAMBLE CT., 14100 block, 2:30 a.m. June 1. An open garage was entered. The intruder fled with property when confronted.
GEORGIA AVE., 13500 block, 8 to 8:30 p.m. May 28. Property was stolen from a residence entered through an unlocked door.
District 5 Germantown Station
THEFTS/BREAK-INS
CHERRY BEND DR., 19100 block, 1 p.m. June 3. Property was stolen from a residence entered through a rear basement window. Several arrests were made.
District 6 Gaithersburg Station
THEFTS/BREAK-INS
BELLE GROVE RD., 400 block, 11 a.m. June 8. A residence was broken into and ransacked. Three boys were seen running through the back yard.
CLOPPER RD., 900 block, 2:05 p.m. June 1. A residence was entered by force. A man wearing a mask and a male accomplice fled empty-handed when confronted by an occupant. The intruders drove away in a gray minivan.
GUILDBERRY DR., 18400 block, 2 p.m. June 3. Property was taken from a residence entered by force. Three men were seen fleeing with the property in a dark blue Nissan Maxima.
WELBECK WAY, 8700 block, 11:42 to 11:55 a.m. June 2. Property was stolen from a residence entered through a front door.
Rockville
THEFTS/BREAK-INS
RIDGEWAY AVE., 5900 block, 2:36 p.m. June 13. A Silver Spring man, 19, was charged with second-degree burglary and malicious destruction of property in connection with an earlier incident.
