DISTRICT 1 ROCKVILLE STATION
THEFTS/BREAK-INS
FALLSGROVE BLVD., 100 block, 3 to 3:30 a.m. Aug. 17. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.
RAYMOND LANE, 8300 block, 6:54 a.m. Aug. 20. An attempt was made to break into a residence. Nothing was reported missing.
DISTRICT 2 BETHESDA STATION
THEFTS/BREAK-INS
WADSWORTH DR., 9500 block, 3 p.m. Aug. 23. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.
WILLARD AVE., 4500 block, 1:05 p.m. Aug. 24. A man broke into an occupied residence. When confronted, he fled with property.
DISTRICT 3 SILVER SPRING STATION
THEFTS/BREAK-INS
ASTON MANOR DR., 13800 block, 9:54 p.m. Aug. 25. A break-in occurred at a residence. Nothing was reported missing.
LUDLOW ST., 700 block, 2:03 p.m. Aug. 17. A residence was entered through a basement window. An occupant recognized the intruder. A 29-year-old who used to live at this address was arrested.
MUSICMASTER DR., 13100 block, 2 to 4 a.m. Aug. 20. An attempt was made to break into an occupied residence. The intruder fled empty-handed when confronted.
DISTRICT 4 WHEATON STATION
THEFTS/BREAK-INS
BANTRY WAY, 3400 block, 3:30 p.m. Aug. 20. Police responding to a call about suspicious activities tried to detain two men, who entered an occupied house through a back door. A Rockville man, 28, and a man of no fixed address were arrested.
DISTRICT 5 GERMANTOWN STATION
THEFTS/BREAK-INS
SLIDELL RD., 23700 block, 4:30 p.m. Aug. 21. A man knocked on the door of an occupied residence, then jiggled the doorknob. As he walked around the house, an occupant called police. A 27-year-old Illinois man was arrested.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS
BOARDWALK PL., 100 block, 4:45 a.m. Aug. 24. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.
BROOKRIDGE CT., 9800 block, 2 to 6:20 a.m. Aug. 22. A residence was entered through an unlocked door. An arrest was made.
KILDONAN DR., 19600 block, 10:05 p.m. Aug. 21. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.
STRATH HAVEN DR., 20500 block, 2 to 5:45 p.m. Aug. 21. Property was stolen from a residence entered through an unlocked door.
