ASSAULTS
VEIRS MILL RD., 12100 block, 8:23 p.m. Oct. 26. An assault occurred at a residence. A 52-year-old woman was arrested.
District 2 Bethesda Station
THEFTS/BREAK-INS
HAMPDEN LANE, 4900 block, 10 a.m. Oct. 26. An attempt was made to break into a residence.
ORKNEY PKWY., 7200 block, 3:15 p.m. Oct. 19. A person broke into an occupied residence, then fled when confronted.
District 3 Silver Spring Station
ASSAULTS
BRUNSWICK AVE., 10400 block, 9:14 p.m. Oct. 20. A man attacked an acquaintance at a residence and threatened her with a knife.
NEW HAMPSHIRE AVE. AND HOLLYWOOD DR., 2:28 p.m. Oct. 21. A man at a residence pointed a gun at an acquaintance, then fled. After a brief chase, a man, 23, was detained and charged with aggravated assault.

ANGLETON CT., 3900 block, 7:23 a.m. Oct. 24. A man broke into an occupied residence, then fled empty-handed when confronted.
CARTER HOUSE WAY, 13800 block, 7:24 p.m. Oct. 24. An attempt was made to break into a residence. Nothing was reported missing.
CASTLE BLVD., 13900 block, 12:36 a.m. Oct. 24. Two men and a woman broke into an occupied residence, then fled empty-handed when confronted.
CHAPEL RD., 1 to 100 block, 12:24 p.m. Oct. 21. A residence was entered by force. Nothing was reported missing.
GEORGIA AVE., 10100 block, 6:55 a.m. Oct. 16. A man tried to break into an occupied residence, then fled when confronted. Nothing was reported missing.
GRACEFIELD RD., 2900 block, 12:48 to 1:15 p.m. Oct. 21. A residence was entered. Nothing was reported missing.
HAMPSHIRE WEST CT., 1400 block, 12:51 p.m. Oct. 21. A residence was entered. Nothing was reported missing.
MUSGROVE RD., 2200 block, 8:10 a.m. Oct. 22. Two males broke into an occupied residence. A resident was able to detain one of the intruders. A man, 26, was arrested.
MUSGROVE RD., 2300 block, 9:55 a.m. Oct. 23. A residence was entered. Nothing was reported missing.
NEELY RD., 1600 block, 12:59 p.m. Oct. 22. A residence was entered. Nothing was reported missing.
ROBEY TERR., 3400 block, 8:20 p.m. Oct. 24. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.
District 5 Germantown Station
THEFTS/BREAK-INS
MILLHAVEN PL., 13100 block, 7:20 to 7:56 a.m. Oct. 23. Property was stolen from a residence. There was no sign of forced entry.
District 6 Gaithersburg Station
ASSAULTS
QUINCE ORCHARD BLVD., 800 block, Oct. 22. An assault occurred at residence. An arrest was made. Police said that it was a domestic incident.
THEFTS/BREAK-INS
CENTERWAY RD., 9000 block, 6:30 p.m. Oct. 24. A man entered a residence. Nothing was reported missing. A 20-year-old man of no fixed address was arrested.
