ABILENE DR.,2800 block, 9 to 10 p.m. Dec. 7. An attempt was made to enter a residence.

EAST-WEST HWY.,1300 block, 1:34 a.m. Dec. 12. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

ASSAULTS

THAYER AVE.,500 block, 7:35 p.m. Dec. 2. An aggravated assault occurred in a residence.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

NEW HAMPSHIRE AVE.,10200 block, 12:50 to 5:44 a.m. Nov. 30. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

DISTRICT 4 WHEATON STATION

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

COLLINGWOOD LANE,1000 block, 1:35 to 1:40 p.m. Nov. 29. A person tried to enter a residence. An alarm went off. Nothing was reported missing.

FARMGATE LANE,200 block, 4 p.m. Dec. 3. A residence was entered by force. Nothing was reported missing.

GEORGIAN WOODS PL.,2200 block, 2 to 7 a.m. Dec. 2. An attempt was made to enter a residence by forcing a door.


DISTRICT 5 GERMANTOWN STATION

ROBBERIES
ROCKINGHAM CT.,14000 block, 4:18 p.m. Nov. 30. Two people attacked several residents in a garage and robbed them of property. The assailants fled with a third person.

BEACONSFIELD TERR.,20300 block, 12:25 a.m. Nov. 28. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

DISTRICT 2 BETHESDA STATION

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

MONTGOMERY AVE.,5500 block, Nov. 26. A man accosted a homeowner in a residence, took property and fled. No injuries were reported.

DISTRICT 3 SILVER SPRING STATION

INDECENT EXPOSURE

QUEBEC TERR.,1000 block, 11:30 p.m. Nov. 21. A man knocked on a kitchen window, and when a woman looked out, she saw the man exposing himself.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

BALLINGER TERR.,14200 block, Nov. 20. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force. An arrest was made, and property was recovered in a vehicle parked nearby.

BALLINGER TERR.,14200 block, 7 p.m. Nov. 20. An attempt was made to enter a residence.

GARLAND AVE.,8500 block, 9 a.m. Nov. 25. A man entered a residence by force, cut a person with a knife and fled empty-handed in a black Buick.

PINEY BRANCH RD.,9300 block, 12:50 p.m. Nov. 21. A male got out of the passenger side of a truck, entered a residence, took property and fled in a white work truck with Maryland tags.



DISTRICT 6 GAITHERSBURG STATION

THEFTS/BREAK-INS
CRESTWOOD DR.,4:15 p.m. Nov. 21. A person entered an apartment, assaulted several occupants and fled. Several hours later, the assailant returned and set the apartment on fire. An acquaintance of the apartment's resident was arrested two days later by Gaithersburg police and charged.

DUVALL LANE,100 block, 10:30 a.m. Nov. 27. A man took cash from a residence. A female resident was at home during the theft.

FOUNTAIN VALLEY DR.,8500 block, Nov. 22. A person attempted to pry open a door of a residence but fled when a resident heard a noise and went to investigate.

RIDGELINE DR.,9900 block, 6 p.m. Nov. 26. A male resident saw a man outside whom he did not know knocking at the door, and he did not answer. The man left in a dark-colored sport-utility vehicle.
