THEFTS/BREAK-INS

CHERBOURG DR., 4:20 p.m. Oct. 30. A youth who allegedly entered a residence by force was arrested and charged with residential burglary.

District 2 Bethesda Station

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

JOHNSON AVE., 5000 block, 11:15 p.m. Oct. 30. A man with a handgun got into an altercation with another man. He was arrested and charged with aggravated assault.

District 3 Silver Spring Station

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

OLD COLUMBIA PIKE, 14800 block, 7:30 a.m. Nov. 1. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

SWISS STONE DR., 4100 block, 1:01 a.m. Nov. 1. An attempt was made to enter a residence.

District 4 Wheaton Station

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

RANDOLPH RD., 2100 block, 11:30 a.m. Oct. 31. Two men took property from a residence and fled.

District 5 Germantown Station


THEFTS/BREAK-INS

BAILEYS DR., 15200 block, 12:38 to 3:30 p.m. Oct. 28. A man entered a residence by force. Nothing was reported missing. A man, 33, of no fixed address, was arrested and charged with residential burglary.

COLLINGWOOD TERR., 13300 block, 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Oct. 31. A man entered a residence by force, took property and fled.

SOVEREIGN CT., 19800 block, 3:49 a.m. Nov. 1. Someone tried to enter a residence by force but was interrupted when a resident inside called police. A person was found nearby and arrested.

District 6 Gaithersburg Station


PEEPING TOM INCIDENT

WATKINS MILL RD., 10300 block, 7:40 p.m. Oct. 30. A resident saw a male on a ladder looking into his home and chased him away.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

ALLOWAY DR., 10600 block, 6:45 to 7:40 p.m. Oct. 21. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

COLLEGE PKWY., 400 block, 3 to 3:40 p.m. Oct. 26. A man entered an acquaintance's residence. Nothing was reported missing.

KING FARM BLVD., 100 block, 4:05 to 4:18 a.m. Oct. 28. A man standing outside a window exposed himself to a female resident who was looking out the window.

District 2 Bethesda Station

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

UNIVERSITY BLVD., 3400 block, 8 a.m. Oct. 26. A homeowner saw a man trying to enter his residence. When confronted, the intruder fled.

District 3 Silver Spring Station

ASSAULTS

QUEBEC TERR., 1000 block, 8:42 p.m. Oct. 24. A man shot a female inside her residence through a window and fled. The female's injuries were not life-threatening.

BARRON ST., 8000 block, 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Oct. 25. A man, 35, entered a residence by force, took property and fled.

CARROLL AVE., 8700 block, 3:30 a.m. Oct. 20. Property was stolen from a residence.

FALCONWOOD PL., 4200 block, 3:04 to 4:07 p.m. Oct. 21. Three males entered a residence by force, took property and fled.

FEBRUARY CIR., 11500 block, 10:50 a.m. Oct. 23. A residence was entered by force.

LOXFORD TERR., 1000 block, 4:40 p.m. Oct. 26. A residence was entered by force. Nothing was reported missing.

QUEBEC ST., 1100 block, 6 to 6:30 p.m. Oct. 26. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

RANDOLPH RD., 100 block, 7:50 to 8:12 p.m. Oct. 21. Property was stolen from a residence.

UNIVERSITY BLVD., 200 block, 4:47 a.m. Oct. 23. An attempt was made to enter a residence.

10TH AVE., 8400 block, 4 to 5:11 a.m. Oct. 26. A residence was entered by force. Nothing was reported missing.

District 1 Rockville Station


ROBBERIES

VEIRS MILL RD.,12600 block, 11 a.m. Oct. 16. A male followed a woman from an apartment building hallway to her apartment. When she entered her home and tried to lock the door, the male kicked it open and cut her with a knife. He fled and was later suspected of being involved in a robbery on Hewitt Avenue . A male was arrested in connection with both incidents.

MOCCASIN LANE,7600 block, 8:57 p.m. Oct. 15. A residential burglary occurred, but nothing was reported missing.

PARK LAWN TERR.,5100 block, 6:38 p.m. Oct. 21. Property was stolen from a residence.

YELLOWSTONE WAY,7700 block, 8:11 p.m. Oct. 15. A male entered a residence but fled when a resident yelled. Nothing was reported missing.

District 2 Bethesda Station

PEEPING TOM INCIDENTS

AVON DR.,5900 block, 9 a.m. Oct. 15. A male was seen kneeling behind a tree looking in a female's window. The man fled in a red Toyota Tacoma when he was spotted.

MONTROSE RD.,10400 block, 10:30 p.m. Oct. 22. A female saw a male looking in a window at her. She banged on the window, and he ran away.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

CARROLL AVE.,8700 block, 3:30 a.m. Oct. 20. A man entered a residence by force, took property and fled.

GARLAND AVE.,8800 block, 1:57 p.m. Oct. 15. Two men with tattoos on their arms were fleeing a residence when the homeowner came home. One of the men threatened her, tried to take personal property and knocked her to the ground. Both assailants fled on foot.

ROSS RD.,2600 block, 8 p.m. Oct. 15. Property was stolen from a residence by an acquaintance of the homeowner's.

District 3 Silver Spring Station

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

BALLET WAY,3900 block, 8:30 p.m. Oct. 18 to 2:50 a.m. Oct. 19. An attempt to enter two residences by force was made.

LOCKWOOD DR.,11100 block, 6:30 p.m. Oct. 18. A residential burglary occurred.

District 4 Wheaton Station

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

GLENALLEN AVE.,2400 block, 5 p.m. Oct. 18. A female entered a residence, took property and fled.

BETHLEHEM CT.,5900 block, 11:05 p.m. Oct. 11. An attempt was made to enter a residence. Someone in the residence heard a bang outside and footsteps on the deck.

District 2 Bethesda Station

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

CEDAR CREST DR.,9200 block, 5 p.m. Oct. 13. A burglary occurred.

District 3 Silver Spring Station

THEFTS/BREAK-INS
CASTLE BLVD.,14000 block, 9:35 p.m. Oct. 10. Two women entered a residence. Nothing was reported missing.

HEATHER HOLLOW CIR.,1500 block, 9 a.m. Oct. 8. Property was stolen from a residence.

LOCKWOOD DR.,11500 block, 11:40 p.m. Oct. 10. An attempt was made to enter a residence by force.

MARKSMAN CIR.,18100 block, 2:41 p.m. Oct. 7. A man tried to enter a residence by force.

MARKSMAN CIR.,18100 block, 3 to 4 p.m. Oct. 7. An attempt was made to enter a residence.

MUSIC GROVE CT.,16600 block, 12:30 p.m. Oct. 8. Two males were arrested in a residential burglary. Property was recovered.

PEAR TREE LANE,14200 block, 11:40 to 11:50 a.m. Oct. 8. Two men entered a residence by force, took property and fled in a silver sport-utility vehicle.

District 5 Germantown Station

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

COPPER RIDGE RD.,13300 block, CROWNSGATE CIR.,18400 block, CROWNSGATE CT.,1 to 100 block, 11:55 a.m. to 1 p.m. Oct. 13. Three residences were entered by force, and property was stolen from two of them. Police responded to a report of three suspicious people in the area and arrested three youths.

PURDUM RD.,26300 block, 9:20 p.m. Oct. 14. A person entered a residence but fled when a woman in the home heard noises and called her husband's name. The intruder fled out a side door. Nothing was reported missing.

District 6 Gaithersburg Station

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

BRENISH DR.,7400 block, 10 a.m. Oct. 9. A residence was entered by force. Nothing was reported missing.

DUFFER RD.,9600 block, 1:15 a.m. Oct. 11. A person entered a residence, took property and fled. A resident heard noise downstairs, went to investigate and found a door open.

SUNNYBROOK TERR.,700 block, 12:10 p.m. Oct. 7. Two men entered a residence by force. Nothing was reported missing.

HOUSTON AVE.,600 block, 12:15 a.m. Oct. 16. A person kicked open an apartment door and assaulted someone.
