THEFTS/BREAK-INS

MAIDSTONE LANE, 13500 block, 1 to 2:30 p.m. Dec. 24. An attempt was made to enter a residence.

District 2 Bethesda Station


THEFTS/BREAK-INS

MAINE AVE., 8900 block, 5 p.m. Dec. 27. An attempt was made to break into a residence.

District 4 Wheaton Station

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

DAWSON AVE., 2700 block, 3:20 a.m. Dec. 24. An intoxicated man entered an occupied residence, then fled empty-handed. A man, 31, of no fixed address, was arrested.

NEW HAMPSHIRE AVE., 14300 block, 1:20 a.m. Dec. 23. A man forced his way into an occupied residence through the front door, then refused to leave. A man, 21, was arrested.

TENBROOK DR., 10500 block, 2:20 to 2:26 p.m. Dec. 22. Two men entered a residence by force, took property and fled.

WINDMILL LANE, 1200 block, 2:39 a.m. Dec. 25. Property was taken from an occupied residence. A male wearing a ski mask fled when confronted. There was no sign of forced entry.

District 5 Germantown Station

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

CRYSTAL ROCK DR., 19600 block, Dec. 23. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

SKIP JACK DR., 12100 block, 6 p.m. Dec. 24. Property was stolen from a residence.

District 6 Gaithersburg Station

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

SUNNYBROOK TERR., 300 block, midnight to 2 a.m. Dec. 28. An attempt was made to enter a residence.

Rockville

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

PICCARD DR., 1600 block, 3:50 to 3:56 a.m. Dec. 30. A residence was entered by kicking in the front door. Nothing was reported missing.

BYEFORDE RD., 9500 block, 5:45 to 6:30 p.m. Dec. 22. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

HELMSDALE RD., 7500 block, 11:30 a.m. Dec. 17. Property was taken from a residence broken into by two men who fled in a blue 2003 Ford F-150 pickup.

District 3 Silver Spring Station

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

CASTLE WAY, 3400 block, 3:44 to 4 p.m. Dec. 22. A man wearing a blue baseball cap tried to enter a residence by force.

EASTERN AVE., 8000 block, 2:19 p.m. Dec. 20. An attempt was made to enter a residence by force. Nothing was reported missing.

FEATHERWOOD ST., 2000 block, 10:30 a.m. Dec. 19. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

PLYERS MILL RD., 2500 block, 3:30 a.m. Dec. 15. An attempt was made to enter a residence by force. A Silver Spring man, 44, was arrested.

District 4 Wheaton Station

ASSAULTS

WOODLARK DR., 13700 block, 1:51 a.m. Dec. 20. An aggravated assault occurred at a residence. After resisting police efforts to control him, a man wielding a knife was arrested.

FLACK ST., 12800 block, 1:45 p.m. Dec. 20. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.


PEAR TREE CT., 3500 block, 11:50 p.m. Dec. 21. A man entered a residence, then left. Nothing was reported missing.

District 5 Germantown Station

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

EAGLES NEST CT., 12200 block, 4:25 a.m. Dec. 20. A person was arrested at the scene of a report of an indecent exposure.

OWL RUN WAY, 18500 block, 6:51 a.m. Dec. 16. Property was stolen from a residence.

MUDDY BRANCH RD., 400 block, 3:20 to 3:35 p.m. Dec. 17. Property was stolen from a residence.

RAINBOWVIEW PL., 8200 block, 10:30 p.m. Dec. 16. An attempt was made to enter a home. An occupant screamed and confronted the intruder, who fled empty-handed.

STONERIDGE DR., 17700 block, 1 to 3 a.m. Dec. 18. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.
