DISTRICT 3 SILVER SPRING STATION

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

GILBERT PL.,8700 block, 2:15 a.m. April 27. A man entered a residence by force. He was arrested and charged with burglary.

RUATAN ST.,1000 block, 12:20 a.m. April 30. A person attempted to enter a residence. When a person inside screamed, the person fled. Nothing was reported missing.

TUNIS RD.,1800 block, 11 a.m. April 22. A residence was entered by force. Nothing was reported missing.


DISTRICT 4 WHEATON STATION

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

MCMAHON RD.,2000 block, 3:52 a.m. April 25. A residence was entered. A 23-year-old man was arrested and charged with burglary.


DISTRICT 6 GAITHERSBURG STATION

SEXUAL ASSAULTS

HORIZON RUN AND CONTOUR ROADS AREA,11:30 p.m. April 23. After a party at the above location, a female guest fell asleep. A man entered the home and sexually assaulted the woman. A 27-year-old man was arrested and charged with first-degree burglary and first-degree rape in connection with the crimes.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

BLUE RIBBON COURT,11:45 p.m. April 25. A residence was entered. Nothing was reported missing.

DALAMAR STREET,12:30 a.m. April 27. A man saw a male climbing through an open window of his apartment and shouted. The man fled. Nothing was reported missing.

SUFFOLK TERR.,12000 block, 3:30 p.m. April 26. A resident who heard noises coming from a basement scared off a person who was trying to break into the house. Nothing was reported missing.
