Heller delay

As some of you guys know, Heller hasn't been announced. That leaves us either (1) Thursday (some say Wednesday) or (2) no decision this term. We'll have to see how it goes . . . my guess is Thursday.

FAIRMONT AVE.,4900 block, 1:30 a.m. May 31. An attempt was made to enter a restaurant by force. Nothing was reported missing.

FORT SUMNER DR.,4800 block, 4 a.m. May 30. A residence was entered. Nothing was reported missing.

DISTRICT 3 SILVER SPRING STATION

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

CEDAR HILL DR.,12200 block, 1:05 p.m. May 27. One of two males wearing backpacks banged on a garage door at a residence. When the males went to the rear yard carrying rocks, a resident yelled at the assailants, and they fled.

LOCKWOOD AND OAKLEAF DRIVES,12:20 a.m. June 2. An unidentified number of men and women harassed a female riding a Metro bus, followed her off the bus, beat her, took property and fled.

OCALA ST.,9400 block, 3:50 a.m. May 28. A man with a flashlight tried to enter a residence but fled when a resident screamed.

ARCOLA AVE.,2100 block, 10 p.m. May 29-30. A residence was entered by force, and an attempt was made to enter two other residences by force.

HEURICH RD.,12500 block, 9 p.m. May 29 to 6 a.m. May 30. An attempt was made to enter a residence by force.

HIGHATE TERR.,500 block, noon June 2. A residence was entered by force. Nothing was reported missing.

PEACEFUL LANE,1400 block, noon June 2. Property was stolen from a residence.

WOODCREST DR.,14500 block, 3:45 a.m. June 1. Property was stolen from a residence.

DISTRICT 6 GAITHERSBURG STATION

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

MEDICAL CENTER DR.,9700 block, 2:40 p.m. June 1. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

QUONDAL CT.,18300 block, 9:30 a.m. May 30. A residence was entered. A homeless man, 19, was arrested in connection with the incident.

ROCKVILLE

GUDE DR. E.,1600 block, 2:37 a.m. June 10. A Gaithersburg man, 31, was arrested and charged with second-degree burglary in connection with an incident at this location.

TUDOR LANE,5900 block, 10 a.m. May 13. An attempt was made to enter a residence, but the intruder fled when an occupant inside the residence heard the break-in and called out.

CRESTHAVEN DR.,1300 block, 11:10 a.m. May 14. A man rang a residence's doorbell, and when an occupant of the home did not answer, he tried to force his way inside the home.

FRANKLIN AVE. E.,800 block, 4:45 to 5:30 a.m. May 14. An attempt was made to enter a residence.

BUTLER RD.,7100 block, 3:15 p.m. May 15. A man entered a residence by force, took property and fled.

BROOKES AVE.,200 block, 11 a.m. May 17. A man attempting to enter a residence was confronted by an occupant inside the home. A homeless man, 52, was arrested and charged with attempted burglary.

BRASSIE PL.,19600 block, noon May 15. A man attempted to enter a residence by opening a rear glass sliding door but fled when a resident inside the home started yelling.

BURGUNDY DR.,400 block, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 6. Jewelry and four frozen chickens were stolen from a residence entered through a rear door.

GATE DR. N.,13700 block, 5:10 p.m. May 24. A shirtless and shoeless man tried to enter a residence by force. Nothing was reported missing.

NOTLEY RD.,14400 block, 12:05 p.m. May 22. An attempt was made to enter a residence. Nothing was reported missing.

PEAR TREE LANE,3600 block, 11 p.m. May 25 to 5:45 a.m. May 26. A person entered a residence and took property, a set of keys and a 2000 black Acura RL parked outside.

DISTRICT 5 GERMANTOWN STATION

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

SUNBRIGHT LANE,20400 block, 6:20 p.m. May 22. A male rang a doorbell repeatedly while two accomplices watched. When the doorbell went unanswered, the males went to the rear of the house and tried to enter. An occupant of the house scared them off, and the males fled toward Waters Point Lane.

ROTHBURY DR.,20100 block, 9:45 p.m. May 24. Two people were found inside a home that they had entered by force. They were arrested.

APPLEGRATH WAY,11400 block, 3:30 p.m. May 13. A masked male youth armed with a weapon entered a residence through the front door and demanded cash from its occupants. The assailant fled empty-handed.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

TWINFLOWER CIR.,19500 block, 12:57 to 1:25 a.m. May 9. An attempt was made to enter a residence, but the assailant fled when a resident awoke and looked out the door.

ROCKVILLE
