ASSAULTS

LOST KNIFE CIR., 18300 block, 1 a.m. July 12. Two men attacked a man, who broke free and ran to his apartment. The assailants then broke a sliding-glass door and continued the assault. Two Montgomery Village men, ages 19 and 20, were arrested.

CLOPPER RD., 900 block, 4 p.m. July 7. Two males broke into a residence, then fought with an occupant when confronted. Two males, ages 17 and 19, were arrested.

CLUB LAKE RD., 19600 block, 11:30 p.m. July 7. A break-in occurred at a residence. Three men, ages 18, 20 and 23, were arrested.

MARATHON CIR., 9600 block, 8 to 9 p.m. July 10. A break-in occurred at a residence. Four Montgomery Village men were arrested.

PALERMO DR., 12500 block, 12:11 a.m. May 10. A man being chased by police entered a residence through an unlocked front door and fled through the back. With the help of a police K-9 unit, an arrest was made.

EDMONSTON DR. W., 900 block, 1:05 a.m. May 2. A person entered an unlocked residence through a front door, then fled empty-handed when confronted by an occupant. A person was arrested nearby.


DISTRICT 2 BETHESDA STATION

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

ELSMERE AVE., 5500 block, 8:30 a.m. May 3. A man tried to force a door at a residence. He fled when confronted by an occupant.


DISTRICT 3 SILVER SPRING STATION

BRANTFORD AVE., 1100 block, 1:20 p.m. April 29. Property was taken from a residence entered by force. Two males were seen fleeing with the property in a green Honda.
